Luxury jeans from A&F sounds like an oxymoron to me.  But nevertheless the company that is so popular with the high-school aged crowd is offering a pair of "specially handcrafted with premium denim fabric" jeans that are retailing for almost $400 per pair. 

The retailer’s description for this monstrosity reads: Specially handcrafted with premium denim fabric from the highest quality cotton. These limited edition jeans were hand constructed by the best craftsmen to have the most unique intricacies, where no two pairs are the same. Individually hand numbered to insure one-of-a-kind authenticity. Each pair features antiqued metal hardware, genuine abrasion patterns, and destruction.

This is just another desperate attempt for a cookie cutter design giant to muscle into the luxury jeans market.  All of these companies like A&F, Gap, etc… are being killed by the premium denim trend, and the design houses such as True Religion, Antik Denim and Rock and Republic.
